Conceptualzation of Creative Personality and Basic Investigation for its Measurement

Abstract
The two Purposes of this research are as follows.
The one is to extract the creative personality elements from articles to personality of creative person,and the other is to investigate the validity and the re-liability of inventory of creative personality elements.
The procedure for accomplishing the purposes was as follows.
The first phase extracted the 80 adjectives(phrase) describing the personality of creative person from articles.
The second phase made out each item of the 80 adjectives to measure the creative personality.
The third phase tested the inventory of creative personality and two items of TTCT to boy and girl students of middle and high school,.
The fourth phase analyzed factors and estimated coefficients of correlation and cronbach a to investigate the validity and the reliability of inventory of creative personality.
The results of the research are as follows.
Juding from the results of theoretical review and factor analysis, the creative personality elements are approximatly as follows; onenness, flexibility, uniqueness, self-receptiveness, self -subjectivity, imagination, new viewpoint, various interest and so forth.
The concurrent validity coefficient between scores of the inventory and TTCT is.20(boy students)-.43(students of girls middle school).
The inter-item consistency reliability coefficient(cronbach a) of the :inventory is .81.
